Glasgow Kiltwalk 2026

Glasgow Kiltwalk 2026

Posted 29th April 2026

Our most recent fundraising event, the Glasgow Kiltwalk, proved to be a really great day, made all the better by the weather showing up in all its glory and the fantastic effort of everyone involved.

Taking place on Sunday 26th April 2026, 25 dedicated walkers donned their NHP tops and set out across Glasgow to raise funds in support of NHP and the young people across its Local House Projects. With donations still coming in, we expect the total to reach just over £3500, matching the brilliant achievement of 2024’s Edinburgh Kiltwalk.

Nathan, a young person from a House Project in Scotland said;

"It was a very chill experience, I enjoyed chatting and the scenic pathwway. The three and a half mile walk was so easy it made me wanna do the longer walk next time"

The day brought staff and young people together for a shared challenge, with time to take in the beautiful views around Glasgow along the way. While there were certainly a few achy muscles and blistered toes by the end, that didn’t stop the team pushing on, walking like they were on a mission and finishing in spectacular style.

A young person from a House Project in Scotland said;

"In a group we completed the wee wander in the Kiltwalk and I loved every second, even the hard bits, I’d definitely do it again. I am aiming to do the better walk next time"

We are incredibly proud of our team and grateful to everyone who took part and supported the event. Your contribution makes a real difference, helping young people take important steps towards independent and fulfilling lives.
