House Project Peterborough visit the Escape Rooms

With House Project being brand new to Peterborough, we wanted to get a team building exercise in early. We visited Escape Peterborough and soon realised some of us didn't have a cryptic bone in our body. It was a brilliant evening, lots of brainstorming and laughter. We'll definitely be back!
The shared experience and struggle at the Escape Rooms brought out real cohesion in the young people and highlighted their ability to problem solve and work as a team.

Valpak white goods provision
Valpak by Reconomy has partnered with the Coventry House Project to provide white goods to young people leaving care to move into their own homes.

Our first Cook and Share
As part of the National House Project framework, each young person has to cook a meal for the rest of the group. This was the first 'Cook and Share' for 2025 and two of our young people stepped into the kitchen to ensure nobody went hungry. It was a great success, after a couple of mistakes with measurements both our young people delivered a lovely Macaroni Cheese for the whole group.
