EXploring Innovations in Transition to Adulthood’ (EXIT) Study

The evaluation report focused on identifying the key ingredients to develop and sustain innovation at a practice and policy level for care leavers. It highlighted six fidelity elements (co-production, base, relationship practice, learning programme, house and LHP professional team), three outcome domains (young people, organisation and innovation journey) and the five ingredients for establishing and sustaining innovation (co-production, adaption and learning, shared leadership, receptivity of contexts and outcome measures).

We have recently moved into new office accommodation that meets our growth strategy. Whilst it has a ‘grander’ surrounding it is both cheaper and has more space, and therefore not only offers better ‘value for money’, but fits with our drive to ensure that our monies are best used to generate the greatest impact on the young people that we serve.

IMPACT’s objectives fitted well with those of NHP and what we wanted to achieve organisationally in order to provide a positive environment for young care experienced adults to feel supported and thrive. On this basis we put in a bid to be an IMPACT Demonstrator Site
